Seven Angels Seven Trumpets

Revelation 9|1-6

Revelation 8 King James Version (KJV)
1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.

3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.

5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.

6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.

Verse By Verse Commentary

1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

In this verse, we are given to learn that the opening of the seven seal is the trigger of all the trumpets.

The One who is worthy to open the scroll has been previously identified in Revelation 5.

1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.

2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?

3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.

4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.

– No one, except One.

5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.

9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to God by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;

10 And hast made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.

13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

– Therefore, every creature in the heavenly places rejoices at the opening of the Large Scroll. This perspective indicate to us that instead of being a bad thing, it is a good thing that the Large Scroll must be opened.

And the only one who is found worthy to open the Scroll is the Lamb.

The Lamb is the figurative representation of the only God who came as a son of man to be mankind’s redemption for the fall from grace. He paid the debt of Adam and mankind by taking on our infirmaties, fallen nature and the penalty of rebellion as a completely innocent party. He took that to death on the cross along with Him. So that ecclesiologically speaking, the Law would be satisfied to exert justice on law breakers, even on a voluntary substitute defender, that was Y’shua. Y’shua was sent by the Father. Y’shua is the Incarnation of the Word of Elohim. His deity nature was incarnate in the flesh of man so that He became to mankind a kinsman. We are related through Adam.

He was raised from the dead on the third day, to signify the satisfaction of the death penalty as a means to pay up in full all the offenses wrought by Adam and his seed.

Therefore, the Lamb is worthy to open the scroll.

Verse 1 -“silence in heaven”

Remember in Matthew 5|17

Y’shua told His audience the multitude on the maountain.

17 Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

18 For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.

Y’shua ascended to the mountain in order to assume the Law Giver role as Moshe was on Mount Sinai.

Matthew 5 King James Version (KJV)
5 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

– With this background, we shall remember that He came to only fulfill what had been prophesied about His ministry from the Old Testament.

The “silence” is a reference to the Ark built by Noe.

Y’shua made reference to His day of Coming, the day of the LORD YHVH, as in the days of Noe. Also, as in the days of Lot. Through our understanding of the circumstances of the generation where Noe and Lot lived in, we shall expect that the conditions may ripe for the revealing of the son of man, in His words, read below.

Luke 17 King James Version (KJV)

22 And he said unto the disciples, The days will come, when ye shall desire to see one of the days of the Son of man, and ye shall not see it.

23 And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them.

24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day.

25 But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation.

26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

28 Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

29 But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

30 Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

The days of Noe

Y’shua points out a few details among many that characterize what constituted “the days of Noe”.

27 They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

It means even though Noe spoke of judgement to come upon all those who practiced unrighteousness, they carried on the same as they did without repentance. This we learn from Hebrews.

Hebrews 11:7 King James Version (KJV)
7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

This is encouraging to those who move, an action, by faith, and with fear, to prepare the ark to the saving.

How we as obedient sons and daughters today ought to do to “prepare” the Ark, which is the figure of speech for the Second Coming of Moshiach, is as John the Immerser, prepare a way for Him to ascend in coronation as the King over all the earth.

Psalm 47 English Standard Version (ESV)
God Is King over All the Earth
To the choirmaster. A Psalm of the Sons of Korah.
47 Clap your hands, all peoples!
Shout to God with loud songs of joy!
2 For the Lord, the Most High, is to be feared,
a great king over all the earth.
3 He subdued peoples under us,
and nations under our feet.
4 He chose our heritage for us,
the pride of Jacob whom he loves. Selah

5 God has gone up with a shout,
the Lord with the sound of a trumpet.
6 Sing praises to God, sing praises!
Sing praises to our King, sing praises!
7 For God is the King of all the earth;
sing praises with a psalm![a]

8 God reigns over the nations;
God sits on his holy throne.
9 The princes of the peoples gather
as the people of the God of Abraham.
For the shields of the earth belong to God;
he is highly exalted!

The mission of the believer is to bring glory to the Father through all the kingdom work in the field. His death shall not be in vain.

Noe was accredited for believing God and for following through with a lifetime of commitment to fulfilling the task at hand.

The silence in heaven is a reference to the Ark in Beresheet 7

6 Noah was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came upon the earth. 7 And Noah and his sons and his wife and his sons’ wives with him went into the ark to escape the waters of the flood. 8 Of clean animals, and of animals that are not clean, and of birds, and of everything that creeps on the ground, 9 two and two, male and female, went into the ark with Noah, as God had commanded Noah.

10 And AFTER SEVEN DAYS the waters of the flood came upon the earth.

11 In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on that day all the fountains of the great deep burst forth, and the windows of the heavens were opened. 12 And rain fell upon the earth forty days and forty nights.

13 On the very same day Noah and his sons, Shem and Ham and Japheth, and Noah’s wife and the three wives of his sons with them entered the ark, 14 they and every beast, according to its kind, and all the livestock according to their kinds, and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, according to its kind, and every bird, according to its kind, every winged creature.

15 They went into the ark with Noah, two and two of all flesh in which there was the breath of life. 16 And those that entered, male and female of all flesh, went in as God had commanded him.

And the Lord shut him in.

The “rain” was a true element of nature but as you know in the foothills, it is precipitation.

Precipitation occurs in the atmosphere.

In the time of Noe before the 600TH year, the expanse (atmosphere) had a water layer on top, which collapsed in Beresheet 7.

11 In the six-hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on this day, all the water sources of the great deep burst open, and the windows of the sky were opened.

Before that, there was no rain and no rain-bow, it is just Physics.Yet the “rain” no one living in Noe’s generation had seen, had a concept of. Much like today, no one has a concept of His Coming. Many cannot fathom it. They would rather believe in Marvel but not the Coming.

The bow after rain in Beresheet 9 was the mechanism of sunlight and the white light spectrum being dispersed in a dense medium of moisture. We also see the “rainbow” with a garden hose on a sunny day.

Previous to Noe’s 600TH year, the sunlight had to go through the water layer first.

Beresheet 1

6 Then God said, “Let there be an expanse in the midst of the water! Let it be for separating water from water.” 7 So God made the expanse and it separated the water that was below the expanse from the water that was over the expanse. And it happened so.

The rainbow signified a new beginning for mankind with the selected genome.

Had the Deluge not been sent, humans today would look very different.

We do not know what genes were killed off in the Deluge apart from the human hybrids.

Image may contain: sky, cloud, text and outdoor

But the hybrids are coming back, to fit the sign “as in the days of Noe”.

And I also believe that the toxon bow in the hand of the the Rider on the White Horse is a fake bow.

Revelation 6 King James Version (KJV)

1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow (toxon); and a crown (stephenos) was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.

If his bow is fake, his coming shall also be a pretense.

Note the crown that the Bible says he wears is a laural, stephanos.

Word for word examination (bold letters)

Beresheet 6 in YLT

4 The fallen ones (Nephim) were in the earth in those days, and even afterwards when sons of God come in unto daughters of men.

According to Moshe (he scribed Beresheet), they were present after the Deluge,
when sons of God come in unto daughters of men, and they have borne to them — they [are] the heroes, who, from of old, [are] the men of name.

They forced the human women again in the subsequent wave.

Noe and his family signified those who had secured a place of salvation.

Yet YHVH waited one week before that and the water.

It is a prefigure of those who have been called today to come to the marriage.

The one week was a symbol of perfect timing by the Father between the end of the Age of grace and the wrath from the Three Woes in Revelation coming.

During this time, the family members of Noe were free to leave the Ark is they so wished, tho’ none was that foolish. Those that had heard the preaching of Noe might be given an extended time by grace to ask Noe to let them in. Note, it was not up to Noe to “shut the gate”. It says in verse 16 that it was the Lord who motioned for the ark to be shut.

John 10:9 English Standard Version (ESV)
9 I am the door. If anyone enters by me, he will be saved and will go in and out and find pasture

And Y’shua confirmed it in Revelation 3

To the Church in Philadelphia
7 “And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: ‘The words of the holy one, the true one, who has the key of David, who opens and no one will shut, who shuts and no one opens.

As for today, the silence in heaven will be for those who change their minds both ways.

Those who will not serve the King, yet only wants the favorable things in the promise may leave the list in this silence period. Silence is used sometimes by Elohim to test those who doubt Him. Yet silence is like a refining fire to those who trust in Elohim.

And then also for those whom we deliver His invitation to, if they change their initial rejection of the Gospel, it is a provision for them also to receive the Lord and His offer of redemption at the last moment.

In truth, the kind of salvation that the Bible teaches is not once a prayer and then it is done.

The bible teaches that the Spirit of God is to be given to those who love Y’shua, to be proven by our following of His commands. The Word says it period.

John 14

The Believer’s Helper

15 “If you love Me, you will
keep My commandments.

16 I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper so He may be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not behold Him or know Him. You know Him, because He abides with you and will be in you. 18 I will not abandon you as orphans; I will come to you. 19 In a little while, the world will no longer behold Me, but you will behold Me. Because I live, you also will live!

20 “In that day, you will know that I am in My Father, you are in Me, and I am in you.

21 He who has My commandments and keeps them

is the one who loves Me. He who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him

and reveal Myself to him.”
¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯¯

22 Judah (not the one from Kriot) said to Him, “Master, what has happened, that You are about to reveal Yourself to us and not the world?”

23 Yeshua answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me,
he will keep My word

My Father will love him, and

We will come to him and make Our dwelling with him.

24 He who does not love Me does not keep My words.
And the word you hear is not Mine, but the Father’s who sent Me. 25 These things I have spoken to you while dwelling with you. 26 But the Helper, the Ruach ha-Kodesh whom the Father will send in My name, will teach you everything and remind you of everything that I said to you.

The Age of grace is not to be confused with the fullness of the Gentiles – melo Goyim.

Neither is the fullness of the Gentiles to be confused with the times of the Gentiles.

I personally believe that grace means grace. I personally believe that khen (Heb.) grace is the unmerited favor of the Father toward the repentant sinner given.

As such, the House of Israel shall also come to salvation through grace, not by works.

Romiym 11

6 But if it is by grace, it is no longer by works; otherwise grace would no longer be grace.

7 What then? What Israel is seeking, it has not obtained; but the elect obtained it, and the rest were hardened— 8 just as it is written,

“God gave them a spirit of stupor,
eyes not to see and ears not to hear,
until this very day.”[f]

9 And David says,

“Let their table become a snare and a trap,
a stumbling block and a retribution for them.
10 Let their eyes be darkened so they do not see,
and bend their back continually.”[g]

11 I say then, they did not stumble so as to fall, did they?[h] May it never be! But by their false step salvation has come to the Gentiles, to provoke Israel to jealousy.

– to the Gentiles outside of the House, Paul says

24 For if you were cut out of that which by nature is a wild olive tree, and grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these natural branches be grafted into their own olive tree?

– the salvation of the House of Israel shall also be by grace, to be wrought during the age of grace before the wrath is dispensed upon all those who refuse the invitation.

that a partial hardening has come upon Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in; [n] 26 and in this way[o] all Israel will be saved, as it is written,

“The Deliverer shall come out of Zion.
He shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob.
27 And this is My covenant with them,[p]
when I take away their sins.”

In conclusion, there will come a point for the last Gentile person to receive Y’shua, and I personally believe that will be soon, after the last of the ten blood moons fell on 1/20/2019 back to back on the Rosh Hashannah of the trees*, Tu b’Shevat. It is signaling a time like never before, that the last “tree” will enter its growing season, the last growing season before the harvest.

Then the House of Israel will be offered the salvation through faith in Moshiach. And then the age of grace will close just as the gate of the Ark will be shut again by the Lord Himself, not by man.

1 There was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.

John sensed that it was about half an hour of silence. This data was not told to John. We shall inspect his circumstance at this point.

It began in Chapter 4.

After these things I looked, and behold, a door was standing open in heaven.[a] And the first voice, which I had heard speaking with me like a trumpet, said, “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place after these things.”

2 Immediately I was in the Ruach;[b] and behold, a throne was standing in heaven, and One seated on the throne. [c]

John clarified that he was in the Ruwach. The Hebrew word for Spirit means a body of air mass, Y’shua likens the analogy to Nakdimon (Nicodemus) as the wind. An east wind blew upon the Red Sea to open a passage for the Bnei Yisro’El. These are all works of the Ruwach haQodesh.

In fact, in the Gathering (also dubbed the “rapture”, the snatching away of the elect), note the role of the winds.

Matthew 24

29 “But immediately after the trouble of those days,

‘the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light
and the stars will fall from heaven
and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.’[e]

30 Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven, and then all the tribes of the land will mourn, and they will see ‘the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven’[f] with power and great glory. 31 He will send out His angels with a great shofar, and they will gather together His chosen from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.”

The Ruwach acts as John’s passage to the heavenly places going through the portals of time and space.

A half hour in that “place” is not a 30 minute wait upon the earth. Our time is governed by the movement of the sun and the moon. Over “there” the sun and the moon have not effect whatsoever.

2 Then I saw the seven angels who stand before God, and seven trumpets[a] were given to them.

a: shofar

The detail of the ram’s horn is significant.

Many people today are confused by the “last trumpet”.

1 Corinthians 15|52 in a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last shofar. For the shofar will sound, and the dead will be raised incorruptible, and we will be changed.

Here is a true picture. Paul was not revealed the seven trumpets. They were revealed to John much later.

Thiselton suggests that it is possible that I Corinthians was written during Paul’s first (brief) stay in Ephesus, at the end of his Second Journey, usually dated to early AD 54.

Revelation was written sometime around 96 CE in Asia Minor.

Therefore, Paul was referring to the classic trumpet made of silver from the Tanakh, in Joel 2.

15 Blow the shofar in Zion!
Sanctify a fast;
proclaim an assembly.
16 Gather the people;
sanctify the congregation;
assemble the elders;
gather the children,
even those nursing at breasts.
Let the bridegroom come out from his bedroom
and the bride from her chamber.

It is that shofar sounding that is associated with the bridgegroom (Y’shua) coming out from his Home (bedroom) and the bride (the Remnant of the Church) from “her chamber”.

I need to establish here that these seven trumpets have nothing to do with the wedding trumpet that Paul spoke of in 1 Qorinthiym 15 for the resurrection of those in faith asleep and alive.

Image may contain: one or more people, people standing, sky, cloud and outdoor

The seven trumpets here are the voices of the messengers, the malachiym of Elohim.

The trumpet sound for the gathering, the much speculated “rapture”, will come from the Torah in B’midvar 10

Numbers 10 Tree of Life Version (TLV)
Silver Trumpets for Assembly

10 Adonai spoke to Moses saying, 2 “Make two trumpets of hammered silver for yourself. They are for summoning the community and having the camps set out. 3 Whenever both are sounded, the whole community is to gather toward you at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting. 4 But if only one is sounded, the princes—the heads of the tribes of Israel—are to gather toward you. 5 When you sound the trumpet the first time, the camp of those camped on the east is to set out. 6 When you sound the trumpet blast the second time, the camp of those camped on the south is to set out. Short blasts will be the signal for their moving out. 7 To gather the whole national community, you are to sound the sustained blasts, but not the short blasts. 8 The sons of Aaron will blow the trumpets. This is to be an eternal ordinance for you as well as for your generations to come.

9 Whenever you go to war in your own land against the enemy who is hostile to you, you are to sound short blasts of alarm. Then you will be remembered before Adonai your God and be delivered from your enemies.

10 Also at your days of rejoicing, feasts and new moons, you are to blow on the trumpets over your burnt offerings and fellowship offerings. They will then be a reminder for you before Adonai your God. I am Adonai your God!”

These “two trumpets” are then prophesied for the last days in Joel 2.

The first silver trumpet is to called the House of Israel to meet the

Moshiach. Joel 2|1-14.

The second silver trumpet is to call the House and the Bride to go up.

3 Another angel came and stood at the altar, holding a golden incense burner.

Then an 8TH angel appears in John’s vision in addition to the seven angels. While the seven angels hold the seven trumpets, the additional angel holds a golden incense burner – a censor.

BACKGROUND of the censer

Only the priests in the Torah were allowed to hold the censer.

There was a tragedy told in V’Yiqara 10 of the two elder sons of Aaron, Moshe’s older brother. These two played with strange fire. Strange Fire is a phenomenon today among the charismatic congregation when they get really creative by speaking from their hearts. Ezkiel 13 2 “Son of man, prophesy concerning the prophets of Israel, who are prophesying, say to those who prophesy out of their own heart, hear the word of Adonai.

Leviticus 10:1 [ Holy Fire Consumes Unauthorized Fire ]

Now Aaron’s sons Nadab and Abihu each took his own censer, put fire in it, laid incense over it, and offered unauthorized fire before Adonai—which He had not commanded them.

The censer we come to understand is an act of worship, in offering fire before Adonai.

Numbers 16:17 Each man will take his censer and you are to put incense into them—250 censers total. You are to present it before Adonai, you and Aaron each presenting his censer.”

The 8TH angel plays the role of a priest in heaven, about to offer fire to Adonai. His role is different from the seven angels.

The incense in the censer stands for the prayers that you and I offer up to Adonai. These are the petitions of the saints.

In B’Midvar 16, Moshe warned Aharon that wrath was about to come out in the plagues. Therefore, pray to Adonai!

Numbers 16:46 Then Moses said to Aaron, “Take the censer, put into it fire from the altar and put in incense. Get going and hurry to the assembly and make atonement for them, because wrath has come out from Adonai and the plague has started.”

Bnei Yisro’El made a copy on earth a shadow of the censers in heaven.

Exodus 25:38 “The tongs and the censers are to be of pure gold.

It is to be made of gold, a fine precious metal and it explains both ways.

Adonai listens to the prayers of the redeemed attentively. He views our prayers valuable.

We who offer up prayers to Adonai must come with a clear conscience by confessing our sins to keep the censer bowl clean of dirt.

A model of the Art Of The Covenant

James 5

1 Go to now, ye rich men, weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon you. 2 Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are motheaten. 3 Your gold and silver is cankered; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days. 4 Behold, the hire of the labourers who have reaped down your fields, which is of you kept back by fraud, crieth: and the cries of them which have reaped are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth. 5 Ye have lived in pleasure on the earth, and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter. 6 Ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.
7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain. 8 Be ye also patient; stablish your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

There was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

– Much incense, of all the saints. Clearly this is not confined to just the end times Church. All the saints would include even Stephen’s prayer once the Apostolic Age began.

Mas`sei /Acts
7

54 When they heard these things, they became enraged and began gnashing their teeth at him. 55 But Stephen, full of the Ruach ha-Kodesh, gazed into heaven and saw the glory of God—and Yeshua standing at the right hand of God. 56 And he said, “Look, I see the heavens opened and the Son of Man standing at the right hand of God!”

57 But they covered their ears; and crying out with a loud voice, they rushed at him with one impulse. 58 Driving him out of the city, they began stoning him, and the witnesses laid down their cloaks at the feet of a young man named Saul. 59 They went on stoning Stephen as he was calling out,

“Lord Yeshua, receive my spirit!”

60 Then he fell on his knees and cried out with a loud voice, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them!” After he said this, he died.

I personally believe that the incense that are addressed within this verse included much of the cries of the martyrs who were hated by those who do not love the truth.

Have you been praying these prayers for merices?

The fifth seal mentions many who have been martyred for our faith in Moshiach.

Revelation 6

9 When the Lamb opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of those slaughtered[g] for the sake of the word of God and for the witness they had. 10 And they cried out with a loud voice, saying, “O Sovereign Master, holy and true, how long before You judge those who dwell on the earth and avenge our blood?”

11 Then a white robe was given to each of them, and they were told to rest a little while longer, until the number of their fellow servants was complete—their brothers and sisters who were to be killed as they had been.

Maybe in our own generation, some of us will also be martyred upon the revealing of the son of perdition?

Just how many altars are there before the throne of Elohim?

In Revelation 6, the altar is a symbol of sacrifice for those who love not their lives unto death (Revelation 12).

In Revelation 8, the altar is said to be before the throne. In Revelation 4, we come to understand John saw the throne of God and of the Lamb.

These two mentions should be about the same altar.

The new information that comes out here is that the altar is made of gold — “the golden altar which was before the throne.”

4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel’s hand.

Teillim 141

A psalm of Dawid

1 Adonai, I call to You—come quickly to me!
Hear my voice when I call to You.
2 May my prayer be set before You 🤲 like incense.
May the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.

3 Set a guard, Adonai, over my mouth.
Keep watch over the door of my lips.
4 Let not my heart turn to any evil thing,
to practice deeds of wickedness
with men that work iniquity,
nor let me eat of their delicacies.

5 Let the righteous strike me—it is kindness.
Let him correct me—it is oil on my head
—my head will not refuse it.
Yet still 🤲 my prayer is against their wickedness.

The symbol of the incense is the prayers of the saints.

A saint that does not have a prayer life does not have much incense. The saint that prays daily shall have plenty of golden censer to contain all his/her prayers in heaven.

In the Holy Place in the Heykal (Temple) there were three pieces of “furniture”.

Shemot 25

30 And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway.

31 And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same.

Common worshipers did not enter the tabernacle tent, only kohanim. Once inside the Holy Place, the kohanim would see the table of showbread to their right, a golden lampstand to their left, and an altar of incense ahead, just in front of the veil separating the two chambers.

Now all of us may immediately recognize how Y’shua came to represent the Bread (right) and the Lamp (left).

John 6|35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

John 9|5 As long as I AM in the world, I AM “the light of the world”.

(The Light Of The World is the name given to the golden lampstands in the Heykal, which were lit up during Yom Kippur.)

The third piece of furnishing in the Holy Place is the altar of incense. The arrangement was a miniature of a copy of the heavenly throne room.

The Holy Place can only be accessed once a year by the Kohan Gadol (High Priest) on the Day of Atonement on that one day. As Y’shua is our High Priest after the Order of Melchizedek (King of Righteousness, Malki Zedokh), He is the one that brings our prayers to His Father, which is in heaven. No one comes to the Father except through Y’shua.

Ibr’im /Hebrews |
9

24 For Moshiach is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of Elohim for us:

25 Nor yet that He should offer himself often, as the high priest entereth into the holy place every year with blood of others;

Ibr’im 10

18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Y’shua,

20 By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh;

21 And having an high priest over the house of Elohim;

22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water (the mikveh).

To this day, the prayers of the saints are still reaching Elohim through our Lord Kohan Gadol.
