Day Of Fire

The First Trumpet is the fulfillment of the Day of Fire from the Old Testament and the “baptism” of fire and the testing of foundation in the New Testament.

Malachiy 4

Berean Study Bible
1 “For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace,

when all the arrogant and every evildoer will be stubble; the day is coming when I will set them ablaze,” says the LORD of Hosts. “Not a root or branch will be left to them.”

2 “But for you who fear My name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings, and you will go out and leap like calves from the stall. 3Then you will trample the wicked, for they will be ashes under the soles of your feet on the day I am preparing,” says YHVH Tz’vaot the LORD of Hosts.

Malachiy 4
Who is speaking?

1 This is an oracle, the Word of the LORD to Israel through Malachiy (means My servant)

2“I have loved you,” says YHVH the LORD.

But you ask, “How have You loved us?”

It was the Word of YHVH who contacted His servant. The name of the servant is not given and identified. The sefer (scroll) is titled My Servant in one Hebrew word.

This book closes out the body of the Prophets in the Tanakh (Old Testament). There was to be a long silence from the Word of God for the coming 400 years until Yokhanan ben ZkharYAH (John the Immerser) began to speak in the Judean desert, calling sinners among the Jews to repentance.

The book is a tiny book only of four chapters. It is dated to come from a second generation of those who went in exile from Jerusalem to Bavel that ended in 536 BC. The Bnei of the three remaining tribes, Judah, Levi and Benjamin, visited Jerusalem their fatherland for the first time. They were born overseas. They spoke Aramaic, the language that they adopted in Bavel as Nebuchadnezzar wanted to wipe out their cultural and religious heritage. Read the Book of Daniel for further details. But a few of the elders that survived the 70 years of exile returned to their birthplace.

Malachiy addressed an issue concerning the building of the Second Temple, the Zerubbabel Temple at the time. Levites were put out of their duties when the rest of the returnees did not bring the grain tithes into the Temple. Levites were marrying the pagan women and bore children that might one day serve as priests with a polytheistic belief. Today many pastors cash in on Malachiy by misusing a verse in order to bring in revenue as a Replacement Theology.

At the end of the book, our Lord, the Word of God, who 400 years later became in due season, at the fulfillment of the fourth kingdom, Rome, Incarnate in the flesh (sarx) as Y’shua the man the son of man, foretold the writer that there will come a day when the people will be set on fire.

This fire is not the combustion of air as in burning. This is the spiritual fire that Yokhanan spoke of the Moshiach in Luqas 3.

He will immerse (bapatizo) with the Ruwach haQodesh (Holy Spirit) and with fire.

The furnace in Malachiy 4 will be the immersion of fire that will come to test each of human creature. Verse 2 offers hope to those who will have abided in the True Vine at the end of the test.

Without this test, there will be no Gathering, no washing of our garments for the Marriage, and no place in the Marriage.

Many members of the cult Churchianity speak theoretically of salvation by faith. However, the majority of them will find the fire test surprising.

1 Qorinthiym 3

10 According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another builds on it. But let each man be careful how he builds on it. 11 For no one can lay any other foundation than that which has been laid, which is Jesus Christ. 12 But if anyone builds on the foundation with gold, silver, costly stones, wood, hay, or stubble; 13 each man’s work will be revealed. For the Day will declare it, because it is revealed in fire; and the fire itself will test what sort of work each man’s work is. 14 If any man’s work remains which he built on it, he will receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work is burned, he will suffer loss, but he himself will be saved, but as through fire.

Paul says all true believers will be saved even after the fire test. It is called the Day of Fire. Yet it is not equal for all. Some will receive a reward while for the rest, simply eternal life is the only reward by the grace of God that they will receive.

And it looks like the Day of Fire will take place not in heaven. It is going take place over an extended period of time in the tribulation, beginning at the sounding of the First Trumpet, continuing to the end of the Fourth Trumpet.

John testifies of Eashoa in Luke 3

As for the grass in the First Trumpet, these people will find themselves in the harvest that they sow to be like the stubble caught in a wild fire. As I have been saying since 1/20 2019, upon the passing of the last of the Ten Blood Moons, the Age of Grace is closing. Those believers, loosely speaking, those who have neither fruit to offer nor roots that hold them to the earth (Gk. gē), are also warned of in John 15, those who have no fruit, shall be cut off of the Vine by the Father.

John 15|1 WEB
“I am the true vine, and My Father is the farmer. 2 Every branch in Me that doesn’t bear fruit, He takes away. Every branch that bears fruit, He prunes, that it may bear more fruit.

A branch that was once in the Body of Christ, must bear fruit, or he will be cut off by the Father.

Scripture is converging it all on the sounding of the Four Trumpets.
