Geena (Gehenna) is an exclusive teaching that came from Y’shua, Word in the flesh manifest. Translators of the Elizabethan and James eras wanted to guilt trip old English Christians with the threat of hell and thus they invented a new concept. But what Y’shua means for Ge’ena is something else. Geena is worse than hell.
That Piece Of Bacon
Chronologically, beginning with the publication of the King James Translation (Authorized Version) the Jacobean (James is a form of Jacob) era refers to the period in English and Scottish history that coincides with the reign of James VI of Scotland who also inherited the crown of England in 1603 as James I. KJV was published in the year of 1611 in its first edition. That was dated just a few years before the Mayflower docked in the Americas the New World. A ship called Mayflower. Mayflower set sail from England in July 1620. The Puritans preferred their Geneva 1599 translation.
Jacobean: 1603–1625 Sir Francis Bacon was appointed to be the editor of the KJV. After the accession of James VI (Scotland) and I (England) in 1603, Bacon was knighted. He was later created Baron Verulam in 1618 and Viscount St. Alban in 1621. Because he had no heirs, both titles became extinct upon his death in 1626, at 65 years. The accession of James I brought Bacon into greater favor; he was first knighted in 1603, and endeavoured to set himself right with the new political powers by writing his Apologie (defence) of his proceedings in the case of Essex, who had favored the succession of James. – McGill
Bacon edited the Authorised Version of the Bible that went to be printed in 1611. Dr. Lancelot Andrewes, Bishop of Winchester, one of the chief translators, was Bacon’s close friend. The MSS are missing. That Bacon revised the manuscripts before publication is certain. Neither Bilston nor Miles, to whom the MSS were entrusted for final revision, could have given the world such a literary masterpiece. We have their writings. They are mediocre, barren of style, lacking the creative touch.- Alfred Dodd, Francis Bacon’s Life-Story 1986
Someone once misunderstood about the role of Francis Bacon. He thought Francis Bacon meddled with the Bible after it came out. No, he meddled with it and the publication is the result of his grubby fingers meddling in the works of other men.
In other words, Bacon was pro-James. He was drafted to the King James ego Bible team to exemplify the King’s new kingdom by using God to elevate his status. He accomplished it in spades for transforming the translators’ works into poetry, at the expense of word swaps. He singlehandedly gained the admiration of the country and united the new monarch with the people.
“The Bible which all of us read and admire from a literary point of view because of it’s peculiar and beautiful English was written in that form by Bacon who invented and perfected that style of English expression. The first editions of this Bible were printed under the same guidance and in the same manner as were the Shakespeare plays, and the ornaments for the various pages were drawn in pen and ink and on wood by artists engaged by Bacon who worked under his supervision. Everyone of the ornaments concealed some Rosicrucian emblem and occasionally a Masonic emblem or some initials that would reveal Bacon’s name or the name of the Rosicrucians. Such ornaments were put not only in the Christian Bible that Bacon had rewritten but in the Shakespeare plays, and in some of Bacon’s own books, and a few other books that were typically Rosicrucinan in spirit.” — Dr. H Spencer Lewis Imperator of the Rosicrucian Order during the 1920-30’s, from the Rosicrucian Digest, April 1930
“The style of English came from the Elizabethan Era that took place from 1558 to 1603 and is considered by many historians to be the golden age in English History. During this era England experienced peace and prosperity while the arts flourished. The time period is named after Queen Elizabeth I who ruled England during this time.”
Ge’ena (Gehenna) is one of few casualties under the watch of Francis Bacon. It means in its original manuscript a quality that is similar but not the same as the choice preferred by Francis Bacon to suit his objective in helping James. He prefers to use the word “hell”. The word Gehenna enters the New Testament in the word of Messiah. If Gehenna is not hell proper, as King James unfortunately mixed it up with the lake of fire, then Gehenna is actually a teaching using the place of Geena to illustrate complete judgment out of justice and thorough knowledge by the Omniscient Almighty. There would be more integrity in translating Gehenan to be the Valley of Hinnom than “hell”. There is absolutely no sound rationale to introduce the word hell to alter the speech of the Messiah. I think this is serious. How ironic it would be for Francis Bacon for what he will receive before the throne of God.
A Tragic History
Gehenna is a real location to this day. It was a small valley in Jerusalem, south of the location as a garbage dump. In the Hebrew Bible, Gehenna was initially where some of the kings of Judah sacrificed their children by fire in a special furnace made in the shape of a giant. Thereafter, it was deemed to be cursed (Book of Jeremiah 7:31, 19:2–6). In rabbinic literature, Gehenna is a destination of the wicked.
In Torino a replica of Moloch, complete with chains and entraptions were on display.

Where does the word Gehenna come from?
Named in the New Testament in Greek form (from the Hebrew Ge Hinnom, meaning “valley of Hinnom”), Gehenna originally was a valley west and south of Jerusalem where children were burned as sacrifices to the Ammonite god Moloch. Ge therefore is just Valley. Hinnom is a location. Obviously the valley of Hinnom is an idiom, it is not “hell“. Hell is not a physical location on earth.
The word hell is lost in translation.
Completeness Of Judgement and Salvation In Equal Measures
Joshua 15:8 and the border went up by the valley of the son of Hinnom unto the side of the Jebusite southward (the same is Jerusalem); and the border went up to the top of the mountain that lieth before the valley of Hinnom westward, which is at the uttermost part of the vale of Rephaim northward;
Matthew 10:28 ESV
And do not fear those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather fear him who can destroy both soul and body in (Gk. Geena; Heb. Ge-Hinnom).
Not only the soul but also the body (the second resurrection), Geena is a complete package of penalty against God’s rule. Y’shua introduced this concept in the New Covenant using a well known and cursed valley with an awful reputation to speak of the judgment to come.
The analogy involves the evil practice of the kings of Judah who burned their children for appeasing the local god of worship, Moloch, in exchange for favors, victories and power. Our Redeemer’s concept in using Ge’ena is that there is a day of accountability as God is omniscient, omnipotent and omnipresent. There is not a place where a thought is formed, a word that is spoken that He did not get a memo from each of us. That is the first level of completeness.
Yet the completeness of the Good News is that all transgressions, iniquities and sins can be confessed to God.
“The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” (that is, the word of faith that we proclaim); 9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. – Romans 10| 9
Whoever believes in him may have eternal life. – John 3| 15
Court is held at Calvary
The one who pleads guilty will be sentenced to death. God has justice. A law is a law. But laws cannot work in combination, and that is grace. The individual needs to plead a guilty plea. Yet, the Son of God stepped forward and took the fall. He died. He took your place and my place. It is done. All you have to do is to acknowledge that fact.
The third level of completeness is at the final judgment. Anyone who is hoping to escape a sentencing where Jesus was rejected to take the penalty for him or her, he will or she will be responsible for their deeds.
The level of completeness is analogous with a horrifying look at Ge’ena. If the charred bodies of the children that the kings brought to Moloch for a blessing, upon themselves, not upon their children, by burning the kids alive in exchange of health, wealth and power, victories of their careers, if those poor bodies were not engulfed by the flames to ashes, the meal worms in the pile will fully decompose all organic material with no way of escape. The maggots will crawl out of the rotten flesh eating away every scrap of loose flesh. This is the justice that will be exerted at the final judgment for any hanging chads. Chad refers to fragments sometimes created when holes are made in a paper, card or similar synthetic materials, such as computer punched tape or punched cards. CHAD is an acronym for Card Hole Accumulated Debris. Ge’ena is complete packge of the final judgment for those who no thanks to Christ’s offer.
The alternative to Ge’ena is the Cross.
Receive Christ for He already died for our sins. Just acknowledge Him. Jesus, His name, means Savior.
Call His name.
