In today’s teaching, we will learn that Adonai has seen into the future and He used the stubbornness of sinful men to work His purpose in His holy feast days. His Son was laid in the tomb as the Unleavened Bread. In these paired narratives between Sinai (the 1st anniversary of the exodus from Egypt, 1,312 BC) and Jerusalem in 30 AD at the Passover, our lesson today says Adonai is sovereign Lord over His holy feasts.
Some day in the near future, as we were warned in Daniel, the antichrist will “think to change the times” and the Torah and wear out the saints. But we gain confidence that Adonai is sovereign, as we learn in today’s lesson that governed the Son fulfilling HaMatzah, the holy feast of Unleavened Bread.
Y’shua declared the son of man is the Lord of the Sabbath.
For the Son of Man is Lord, even over the Sabbath!”
Matthew 12| 8
He rose on the Sabbath. On Wednesday – daytime on Abib 14 – the day of Passover in 30 AD, we learn that the soldiers regarded the Feast of Unleavened Bread to be their chosen day of the Passover. They took the 15th day of the first month instead of the 14th to be the Passover of the Lord.
Today Rabbinc observance still deviates from Numbers 9 and chooses the 15th for the Passover, no different from 30 AD. And because of that preference, the Jews regarded that the High Day of Sabbath was the 15th day. For that, the soldiers were going to break the legs to let the criminals die of asphyxiation. The Romans did not care. It was the Jews who placed that request to the Governor Pontius Pilate. Pilate approved it.
Guarded
The attending Roman guards could only leave the site after the victim had died, and were known to precipitate death by means of deliberate fracturing of the tibia and/or fibula, spear stab wounds into the heart, sharp blows to the front of the chest, or a smoking fire built at the foot of the cross to asphyxiate the convict.
They broke the legs of the criminals hung either side of the Lord Y’shua in time for the day’s end at sundown. The day of preparation was the day that the Jews used to prepare for the tweaked Passover, on Abib 15. We read in John’s account that the soldiers exercised all of the above to ensure the three on the crosses were expired.
31 Since it was the day of Preparation, and so that the bodies would not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken and that they might be taken away. 32 So the soldiers came and broke the legs of the first, and of the other who had been crucified with him. 33 But when they came to Jesus and saw that he was already dead, they did not break his legs. 34 But one of the soldiers pierced his side with a spear, and at once there came out blood and water.
John 19|
But Y’shua had already died at 3PM. Because of this, the Almighty made Y’shua, son of man, to be buried before sundown to enter the holy feast of Unleavened Bread.

YHVH FULFILLMENT OF HOLY FEAST
Y’shua is the Bread of Life. He is the manna from heaven (John 4). He became the Unleavened Bread for 3 days and 3 nights as He was laid in the sepulcher in burial.
Here we come to understand that even if the antichrist will think to change the times and the seasons, referring to the moedim of YHVH, and the Torah (Law). Nevertheless, the Lord Almighty will still make His holy feasts to manifest to His purpose as well as His prophecies to come true in spite of. For Father has the ultimate call.
He changes times and seasons; he removes kings and sets up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding;
Daniel 2| 21

The Little Horn
Concerning the antichrist, in Daniel 7, the little horn is prophesied as such.
He shall speak words against the Most High,
and shall wear out the saints of the Most High,
and shall think to change the times and the law;
and they shall be given into his hand
for a time, times, and half a time.
But for those who are set apart from the world by YHVH, take comfort that we shall not be subject to the little horn.
But the court shall sit in judgment,
and his dominion shall be taken away,
to be consumed and destroyed to the end.
27 And the kingdom and the dominion
and the greatness of the kingdoms under the whole heaven
shall be given to the people of the saints of the Most High;
his kingdom shall be an everlasting kingdom,
and all dominions shall serve and obey him.
Amein.
