Abib 10, 30 AD, Y’shua Entered Jerusalem

Do it in remembrance of Moshiach. That year that was today. April 4, 2020, Abib 10. The Word of God came to earth and dwelled among mankind as a son of man. He fulfilled at least two Old Testament Scripture verses on that day that year today — Abib 10, Saturday.

Mark 11 The Messiah Fulfills Shemot & Zkaryah Prophecies And The Pesach Seh (male Lamb)

1 Now when they drew near to Jerusalem, to Beth Phaḡi (Bethage, House of Unripe Figs) and Beth Anyahphage (Bethany, House of Figs), at the Mount of Olives, Y’shua sent two of his disciples and said to them, “Go into the village in front of you, and immediately as you enter it you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Untie it and bring it. If anyone says to you, ‘Why are you doing this?’ say, ‘The Lord has need of it and will send it back here immediately.’” And they went away and found a colt tied at a door outside in the street, and they untied it. And some of those standing there said to them, “What are you doing, untying the colt?” And they told them what Y’shua had said, and they let them go. And they brought the colt to Y’shua and threw their cloaks on it, and he sat on it. And many spread their cloaks on the road, and others spread leafy branches that they had cut from the fields. And those who went before and those who followed were shouting, “Hosanna! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! 10 Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David! Hosanna in the highest!”11 And he entered Jerusalem and went into the temple. And when he had looked around at everything, as it was already late, he went out to Beth Anyahphage (Bethany) with the twelve.

A colt is a baby donkey that no one has ridden on before. Y’shua was the first person that rode on this colt and it is tamed by the Lord of Creation.

Fulfilled Scripture

1. Zechariah 9

The Coming King of Zion

yRejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion!Shout aloud, O daughter of Jerusalem!zBehold, ayour king is coming to you;righteous and having salvation is he,bhumble and mounted on a donkey,on a colt, the foal of a donkey.

2. Shemot/Exodus 12

Tell all the congregation of Israel that on the tenth day of this month every man shall take a lamb according to their fathers’ houses, a lamb for a household. And if the household is too small for a lamb, then he and his nearest neighbor shall take according to the number of persons; according to what each can eat you shall make your count for the lamb. Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male a year old. You may take it from the sheep or from the goats, and you shall keep it until the fourteenth day of this month, when the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill their lambs between the two evenings.

Riding on the colt followed by the momma donkey, Y’shua was displayed in public to the praise of those from Galil, crying out loud in Jerusalem“Barukh haba b’shem Adonai!” (blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD). The men from Galil came to Jerusalem in observing by the Torah the holy feast of Passover at the Temple.

Deuteronomy 16

“Three times in a year all your males shall appear before the LORD your God in the place which He chooses, at the Feast of Unleavened Bread and at the Feast of Weeks and at the Feast of Booths, and they shall not appear before the LORD empty-handed.

The House of Israel indeed regarded this chosen Lamb to be without blemish. For the next 3 1/2 days, according to prophecy, Y’shua stay in Beth Anyahphage (Bethany, House of Figs) with Lazarus, Martha and Mary until the Passover at sundown.

Lord, we read the Scripture today on Shabbat haGadol to remember what you came to do for us. Praise be to Your holy name.
