Second Coming Foreshadowed In Joshua 11

Foreshadowing Provides Assurance

When you perform a careful comparison between Joshua 11 and Revelation 19, then it becomes clear that Joshua’s throwdown of the corrupt tribes was only a foreshadowing of the Second Coming of Moshiach. If in Bible narratives, the past only foretells the future, we already know that the Second Coming shall be a success and mission to accomplish.

Many people begin to wonder if there will truly be a Gathering of the elect. The world seems to stoop lower and lower in the moral department, arms escalation in North Korea and Iran are a threat to human civilization, 5G and Elon Musk’s Neuralink want to lace your skull will computer micro wires, SpaceX is launching tens of new satellites to encase the planet with 5G beaming satellites, the government is doing nothing but just to burn money on immoral agendi, while starvation is happening in African and S America, we are flooded with GMO and chemically laced poisoned food and water, there is no denying that we are kicking can to hell. It won’t last long.

Something is about to change and no one will give it a facebook Like.

But Y’shua is soon coming.

Advent

The Captain of YHVH’s host (armies) spoke to Joshua in chapter 1, He was the Word of God. In incarnation, the Word became flesh in His First Advent.We only celebrated the holy feast of Sukkot, an anniversary of the Holy Birth of the First Advent. There is coming a Second.

The Captain of YHVH’s armies in the Second Coming shall be leading all those that He takes up to meet His Father on the occasion of His marriage to the Gentile Bride. (The Gathering.) His bride and His family and friends are coming behind Him riding on white horses.

On the opposition forces, the half brother of Y’shua, Yehudah (Jude) had this to quote from Enoch,

14It was also about these people that Enoch, the seventh generation from Adam, prophesied, saying, “Behold, the Lord came with myriads of His kedoshim,
15to execute judgment against all. He will convict all the ungodly for all their ungodly deeds that they have done in an ungodly way, and for all of the harsh things ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.”

In Revelation 19, multiple times John shared his vision of an amazing future to come, even for us in the 21st century.

11Then I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse! The One riding on it is called Faithful and True, and He judges and makes war in righteousness.
12His eyes are like a flame of fire, and many royal crowns are on His head. He has a name written that no one knows except Himself.
13He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and the name by which He is called is “the Word of God.”
14And the armies of heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, were following Him on white horses.

A white horse is not a war horse, its symbol means the war is already won. The symbolic entrance is for celebration. In fact, in Revelation 19, the angel of the sun welcomes all to come eat at the Supper of the Marriage.

17Then I saw a single angel standing in the sun, and with a loud voice he cried out to all the birds flying high in the sky, “Come, gather for the great banquet of God—
18to eat the flesh of kings and the flesh of generals and the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and those riding on them, the flesh of all men, both free and slave, both small and great!”

Foreshadowing In Joshua

4So these kings came out with all their armies, a multitude as numerous as the sand on the seashore, along with a great number of horses and chariots. 5All these kings joined forces and encamped at the waters of Merom to fight against Israel.

At that, we come to understand that there is to be no salvation to be had at the Second Coming, but retribution and cleansing of the profane individuals. Moshiach came in His First Advent to bring light and salvation. And He finished His mission. “It is finished!”

And as in Joel 3, it prophesies that the nations will encamp around Israel and God will come suddenly to save them physically as the Messiah that was promised in the Torah.
The battles in Joshua 11 took place in Tel Hazor (Hebrew: תל חצור), also Hatzor ( חצור). Tel Hazor in northern Galilee was a foreshadowing of the nations of the world in the Second Coming. In the pre-occupation days of Israel, they were mentioned from north to south, from east to west at the top of the chapter.

1Now when Jabin king of Hazor heard about these things, he sent word to Jobab king of Madon, to the kings of Shimron and Achshaph, 2to the kings of the north in the mountains, in the Arabah south of Chinnereth, in the foothills,a and on the slopes of Dor to the west, 3to the Canaanites in the east and west, to the Amorites, Hittites, Perizzites, and Jebusites in the hill country, and to the Hivites at the foot of Hermon in the land of Mizpah.

It lasted unexpectedly an extremely short period of time (God: “by this time tomorrow”) for Joshua to exterminate the nephilim armies under their nephilim kings (the Anakim). God exhorted Joshua not to be “afraid of them”. The same instruction is given to us today by Y’shua when we face and shall be facing nephilim walking in the last days.

6Then the LORD said to Joshua,
“Do not be afraid of them, for by this time tomorrow I will deliver all of them slain before Israel. You shall hamstring their horses and burn up their chariots.”

7So by the waters of Merom, Joshua and his whole army came upon them suddenly and attacked them, 8and the LORD delivered them into the hand of Israel, who struck them down and pursued them all the way to Greater Sidon and Misrephoth-maim, and eastward as far as the Valley of Mizpeh. They struck them down, leaving no survivors.
9Joshua treated them as the LORD had told him; he hamstrung their horses and burned up their chariots.

10At that time Joshua turned back and captured Hazor and struck down its king with the sword, because Hazor was formerly the head of all these kingdoms.
11The Israelites struck down everyone in Hazor with the sword, devoting them to destruction.b Nothing that breathed remained, and Joshua burned down Hazor itself.

12Joshua captured all these kings and their cities and struck them down with the sword. He devoted them to destruction, as Moses the LORD’s servant had commanded. 13Yet Israel did not burn any of the cities built on their mounds, except Hazor, which Joshua burned.

14The Israelites took for themselves all the plunder and livestock of these cities, but they struck down all the people with the sword until they had completely destroyed them, not sparing anyone who breathed. 15As the LORD had commanded His servant Moses, so Moses commanded Joshua. That is what Joshua did, leaving nothing undone of all that the LORD had commanded Moses.

Yisrael Shall Be Restored

In Romans 11, Paul strongly spoke up for the Remnant of Yisrael.

1I ask then, did God reject His people? Certainly not! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin. 2God did not reject His people, whom He foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says about Elijah, how he appealed to God against Israel: 3“Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars. I am the only one left, and they are seeking my life as well”a ?

4And what was the divine reply to him? “I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”

In the Second Coming, there will be many Israelites in Y’shua’s armies as well as all twelve tribes in Joshua’s armies. Revelation 7 mentions the tribes are coming together in Aliyah, in formation for battle, as the children of Yisrael are being called in the last generation since 1948 to get ready for the banner. Many scattered children Bnei Yisrael are calling Y’shua Lord and Savior from around the world. This is all given in Old Testament prophecies.

We are indeed very close to that final battle on this side of the Millennial Reign. Today, soldiers will live as soldiers. Y’shua is our Lord of YHVH’s armies.
