The Vine And The Fig

Both “trees” are given by YHVH to Yisrael as their symbols, meaning two closely related aspects of Yisrael. They served specific purposes.

Zechariah 3:10 (The words of the Word of YHVH in Red)

‘In that day,’ declares the LORD of hosts, ‘every one of you will invite his neighbor to sit under his vine and under his fig tree.'”

Like on the platform at a train station, we learn from the published timetable for the train service to stop in a timely manner, the closer it is to the appointed time, we will hear and then see the train arriving.

Prophetic of a (near-)future restoration of the House of Yisrael before the Blessed Hope comes, the reunification of the tribes of Israel (Vine) will follow the reunification of the government of Israel (Fig). For the fig is symbolic of the civil government of the Tribes and the vine is symbolic of the spiritual body of the Tribes.

“Every one of you” in Zechariah 3 refers to the seeds of the scattering of the DNA to every nation.

Many believers today carry the Yisrael genes. In the preceding verse 9, YHVH prophesied that this will happen when Jesus is crucified on the cross as the “one stone with seven eyes (Jesus); behold, I will engrave its engraving – the marring by wounds and scars from suffering for the redemption of mankind as the Kinsman Redeemer. People today such as myself, Mark Biltz, Joel C. Rosenberg are all part of the end times Aliyah of Yisrael.

The Vine

The climbing plant, the grape yielding vine is the SPIRITUAL symbol of Yisrael

that produces the wine for the Lord’s Supper, symbolizing the KINSMAN (Ga’al HaDahm) who gave His blood on the cross to make (me) live by the Life that He Is. I AM the Way the Truth and the Life. He gave Himself for me, and you.

Psalm 80:8-17
You removed a vine from Egypt; You drove out the nations and planted it. You cleared the ground before it, And it took deep root and filled the land. The mountains were covered with its shadow, And the cedars of God with its boughs.

Jeremiah 2:21

“Yet I planted you a choice vine, A completely faithful seed How then have you turned yourself before Me Into the degenerate shoots of a foreign vine?
