The Two Olive Trees

The olive tree is symbolic of Israel by design, the religious sign of Israel as God’s chosen nation upon the earth. In Israel, God’s purpose is to make good His promise to Abraham that from his loins, a people will serve the nations as a light.

The olive tree is the producer of the anointing oil from an olive press. In other words, not everyone can be part of an olive tree, except that he or she is anointed by God.

That said, the nation of Israel had never attained the national anointing status in the past. But now, many descendants of Israel who live in every nation on the earth are anointed believers. Some call themselves messianic Jews while some just simply call themselves Christians with an Israelite’s unmistakable DNA.

Peter called true Gentile believers of the Church a holy (set apart) nation, a royal priesthood for Christ. 1 Peter 2.

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. 10 Once you were not a people, but now you are God’s people; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy.

The two olive trees as explained and interpreted by Scripture is clearly given in Romiym 11 by Paul to be a combination, a team of the Revived Israelites who turn to Christ, and the Gentiles from the nations who turn to Christ.

So from Revelation 11 to Romans 11, we have a link here for sound hermeneutics.

Romans 11

1 I ask, then, has God rejected his people? By no means! For I myself am an Israelite, a descendant of Abraham.

25 Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers:[d] a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. 26 And in this way all Israel will be saved, as it is written,

“The Deliverer will come from Zion,
    he will banish ungodliness from Jacob”;
27 “and this will be my covenant with them
when I take away their sins.”

Up ahead, we shall look back to understand that Paul says in verse 1, an Israelite, these are those of us who are descended from the 12 tribes and our ancestors were scattered by God to every continent in the earth. Today, whether we realize about our genetic identity or not, we are Israelites. The first Olive Tree is partially reformed to formation for the last days battle.

In the state of Israel, some of those Israeli citizens, the prophecy will apply also to those in Israel today who are believers of the Messiah. Some more may join them and us, but we are not saying all of the state of Israel will turn to Christ. The Bible only promises that they, along with many nations, will “know” that Jesus is God. Many times in Ezekiel, the Word of YHVH, the pre-incarnate Christ from eternity past and present, told the Prophet that “they will know that I AM YHVH”. This by no means says many will be saved. They will just come to realize as a fact that Jesus is indeed God. The context is explained behind this saying when we bear in mind that Jesus of Nazareth was rejected as God. But there will come a time when their descendants shall know, in a cerebral sense and not in a salvation by faith sense, that Jesus is indeed God.

Ezekiel 13:21

Your veils also I will tear off and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand as prey, and you shall know that I AM  the Lord.

The other Olive Tree is the grafted in wild Olive branch. Paul drops the “fullness of the Gentiles”. It means the quota shall be reached one day and not one more Gentile will be saved. The book shall be closed. I believer personally that that day is near after the sign on January 20, 2019 at the tenth and the last blood moon, total solar eclipse.

25 Lest you be wise in your own sight, I do not want you to be unaware of this mystery, brothers:[d] a partial hardening has come upon Israel, until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.

Who May Be The Two Witnesses?

My answer is all those who are already prophesying today (1,260 days) who come from the House of Israel (descendants, the messianic believers in Christ, as me, the Cultivated Olive Tree) and from the Bride (separated and sifted to remain of the Church) of Christ. We together are prophesying to the world and call sinners and ungodly believers to repentance.

Logistics Of The Two Witnesses

Talk of logistics, God never says “millions will gather in the streets of Jerusalem” to have a final showdown in the face of the revealed AC guy. Side note, it is only possible to know at the mid point of the last heptad – 7 years – of “the week of Daniel” the identity of this final antichrist individual. It may well be this timeline will follow the fifth trumpet after Apollo is released from the Abyss. Don’t hold your breath.

God only describes to John that whoever of those who will be in Jerusalem are His Two Olive Trees, His two witnesses (types).

The problem of ascribing and assuming those two witnesses are either Moses, or Enoch, or Elijah is, they shall be prophesysing for 1,260 days. No one prophesies in secret in a locked building. The only people today who are doing God’s prophesying are the faithful sons and daughters of God in the last days. We are very unpopular. We call out sins. We ask people to repent for He is coming.

Revelation 11

1 Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told, “Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there, 2 but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the 👉🏼nations, and they will trample the holy city for 👉🏼forty-two months. 3 And I will grant authority to my two witnesses, and they will 👉🏼 prophesy for 1,260 days, clothed in sackcloth.”

4 These are the 👉🏼two olive trees and the 👉🏼two lampstands that stand before the Lord of the earth. 5 And if anyone would harm them, fire pours from their mouth and consumes their foes. If anyone would harm them, this is how he is doomed to be killed.

– In here is a promise, these prophesying believers will be kept from death during these 42 months to get our jobs done. It is a 42 month life warranty.

6 They have the power to shut the sky, that no rain may fall during the days of their prophesying,

– God says, during the time of the 42 months, there will be droughts. Are we in a drought now?

and they have power over the waters to turn them into blood and to strike the earth with every kind of plague, as often as they desire. 7 And when they have finished their testimony, the beast that rises from the bottomless pit[a] will make war on them and conquer them and kill them, 8 and their dead bodies will lie in the street of the great city that symbolically[b] is called Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was crucified.

– Jerusalem is called in Ezekiel to be a child of Egypt.

We also note from the words of God that when the Two Olives Trees were first prophesied to Zechariah, there was only one Lamp Stand. A second lamp stand appears in the vision of John on Patmos. The second, and subsequent, lamp stand is the Gentiles who turn to Christ. Having oil as fuel for shining the light is symbolical of the Gospel that the real New Covenant Gentiles are bringing to every dark corners of the earth. This is what is meant by witnesssing for Christ.

I said, “I see, and behold, a lampstand all of gold, with a bowl on the top of it, and seven lamps on it, with seven lips on each of the lamps that are on the top of it. And there are two olive trees by it, one on the right of the bowl and the other on its left.”

The parting words of our Lord in Acts 1 call for people to step up to be His witnesses. This is not a last days concept. True believers from the House of Israel, for all of those up to Acts 2 were all Jews, witnessed in the beginning of the Church.

So when they had come together, they asked him, “Lord, will you at this time restore the kingdom to Israel?” He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority. But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”

The closing book end to the days of witnessing for Christ will be in the 42 month point, for 1,260 days in the last seven years before the triumphant return of the Messiah of Israel and the Savior of the world.

Stand by. Keep prophesying to the world as Christ’s witnesses.
