As a messianic, I worship the Most High, El Elyon. I do not worship creation nor creatures. Here in this discussion, I want to draw attention to the proper application of the earth, the sun and the moon. They are for our benefit to tell the signs from the Holy Feasts of יהוה the LORD. The word used in Genesis 1 is the same word used in Leviticus 23 for the Feasts of the LORD. So we have been given the truth of His Coming. It shall be on one of the Holy Feasts.

The Wedding Guests Shall Be Gathered On A Feast Day
The fourth of the seven feasts is the summer feast of Shavuot. Boaz of Judah married Ruth of Moab on this feast where the wheat was in harvest season. The Kinsman Bridegroom shall also be coming to receive His Bride to see His Father at a Shavuot one of these years. Of the day and the hour no one knows but the Father. And it refers to the counting of the days from the moon when it is sighted as the new moon.
We shall pay attention to the season. Not knowing the day or the hour does not matter to the kedoshim for we stand ready whenever He gathers all His elect on that day. Amein.
Translation For Beresheet 1:14
And God said, “Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for
the feasts
and for days and the years.
That would be the corrected translation of Genesis 1:14 incorporating the same word original Hebrew Moed as used later elsewhere in the Torah, specifically in Exodus and Leviticus where יהוה gave instructions to Moshe to note and keep and observe all of His moedim, the holy feasts.
What that means is this. Before the Torah was given to Moshe for YisraEl, the seven holy feasts of יהוה already existed before YisraEl. Before Adam was made from the dust of the earth, these moedim feasts already existed. They were just not shared with YisraEl, that was only signed up later in 1,313 BC.
These feasts therefore are not just for YisraEl, but it is for those who follow יהוה , a people who are called by His holy name. The word Moed appeared in the week of creation in Beresheet 1.
And the lights in reference are the two great lights in the heavens, the sun star and the moon satellite.
Job 9:7 ESV
Who commands the sun, and it does not rise; who seals up the stars;
We come to understand one day cycle is when the moon rotates around the planet Earth. One year cycle is when the planet Earth revolves around the sun star once.
So far we have covered the last two applications of verse 14.
The Sign Of The Eclipses
Next we shall look at how the sun and the moon shall speak for the signs on behalf of their Creator. A quick pointer. The sun stands for the nations. The moon stands for the called nation of YisraEl.
When the three bodies the earth, the sun and the moon are in alignment, we get the solar eclipse and the lunar eclipse. A solar eclipse happens when the moon is obstructing the view of the sun from the distance set on the planet earth. The ratio is by precise engineering of creation. The shadow of the moon perfectly covers the corona of the sun star as seen from earth. This is a total lunar eclipse. If the moon is positioned closer to the earth, then its shadow shall be smaller and it will result in a ring of fire in the annular solar eclipse. The Bible uses certain terminologies and lingos from the times where the scribes put down the oracles.
The lunar eclipse manifests as another of the signs using the earth, the sun and the moon. This configuration has the shadow of the earth superimposing on the moon as illuminated by the sun behind the earth, which is positioned in the perfect distance between the star and the satellite. For starter, the moon must be on the 15th day of the lunar month where it is a full moon. The moon has four phases and the full moon is exactly at the middle of the second and the third phases. When at the maximum time of the eclipse, the shadow of the umbra of the earth is projected on the full moon, thus making the appearance from orange to red. It is seen all over the world with no exception. The symbol of the so-called blood moon is when the nations shall eclipse the nation of YisraEl. Any other modes of the lunar eclipse where the shadow of the umbra does not cover the moon is not a blood moon. The red hue will only be given in totality. In other modes, the moon only appears to turn “off”.
Also there has to be seen any lunar eclipse where the shadow of the earth is cast on the surface of the moon that shows the shape of a turtle. I do realize many people today are deceived. I hope they will receive Eashoa soon to be their savior that their eyes might be opened before He comes.
The Lumber Was Set Apart
The LORD did not want to suffer Noe, a righteous man in his time, to mourning and grieving uncertain of his loved ones that passed. He paired Noe with his grandfather on the work of the Lord in preaching righteousness to the then world on the panghea. It took them almost 80 years to announce to the then world the need of repentance and they did it. Then it took only Noe 4 years to build the ark from the lumber that was harvested in the previous 80 years (1 Enoch) that was guarded by the angels. If you had no lumber to hew you shall not have an ark to build. God took care of these things, according to his grandfather, Enoch. So it is for us. When God calls you into service for His kingdom work, He will prepare the ways and means for you to succeed. That in itself is a sign of confirmation that He is with you.
He Died, They Died
People who dwelled on the earth in Noe’s generation had no concept of rain nor of an ark. Neither had they seen before when an albino man called Noe preached righteousness to them to repent, flanked by his grandfather Methuseleh, son of Enoch. Methuselah and Noe this pair of Gentiles became two types of righteous men when the Deluge came up and came down. Methuseleh lived to be the longest recorded man in the Bible clocking at 969 years. His father Enoch named the kid prophetically. Muth and selah together has the following interpretation and it pertains to his death that heralded a death.
“He dieth, and the sending forth,”
He died in faith and righteousness when the Deluge was commanded. Methuselah died in shalom, the Deluge was sent only after he passed into glory. Noe on the other hand, lived when the Deluge was sent by Elohiym. Both are types today for all in faith in Moshiach who either died before the Wrath of God is sent in the last days, as well as those who are alive at that time. Both the rain and the last days wrath respectively in each timeline are unknown to the then world. Only those who did not reject the message and receive the message will heed the instructions, in order to find Life.
In the chart above, we come to understand that the Deluge came 1,656 years according to Beresheet since Adam. And all the ancestors of Noe passed before the Deluge. None of them died in the judgement upon the earth of nephilim, wicked, unrepentant people and genetically modified plants and lifeforms in those days.
Given that, Noe was spoken to directly as instructed by יהוה the LORD. Before the waters above the expanse was pulled and it collapsed on the earth in a sudden motion. As such, the sun and the moon would not be viewable in the time before the Deluge as in the days after that water was emptied above the atmosphere. Noe and the other seven members really emerged out of the Ark looking at a brave, new world. The sun was brighter and the moon was sharp in the sky.
The Year 1313 B.C.
In the generations following Noe’s, the signs of the earth, sun and moon then became apparent. In the narrative of the Exodus, Moshe was instructed to run for their lives away from Egypt on the full moon, lighting their way out of Africa. At moonrise, the moon would be in the east as the Bnei ran toward the east to the shores of the Red Sea. The grace of יהוה the LORD was bestowed upon 6 million people for the first time in the history of time. These Israelites no longer had to serve their Egyptian slave masters in the plantations. For the first time in 400 years, this ethnicity was to be set free, under the sign of the full moon. Therefore, the full moon adopts the symbol of YisraEl ever since.
Devastation
The reason that I mention Noe is for reference for a time when cataclysmic disasters of the war of man and the angels and demons will come to fight on the planet waging an unprecedented battle. I take one example from the Book of Revelation where 1/3 (33%) of the world population will be gone.

15 So the four angels—who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year—were released to kill a third of mankind.
Again we have been given heads up that the “day”, “month” and “year” has been appointed and it shall not be by accident when someone might invoke the nuclear code in spilling his cuppa Joe. In the OT in many references from the Prophets, there will come a day of collection from יהוה the LORD, where wrath is deservingly dealt on the remaining occupants of His Earth. As in an eviction of unruly tenants, those who overstay their welcome is told to leave. It says that sinners will be destroyed. This is really good news for the kedoshim. The sign of the sun and moon shall be involved as stated.

Behold, the day of the Lord comes, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger, to make the land a desolation and to destroy its sinners from it. For the stars of the heavens and their constellations will not give their light; the sun will be dark at its rising, and the moon will not shed its light. I will punish the world for its evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; I will put an end to the pomp of the arrogant, and lay low the pompous pride of the ruthless. I will make people more rare than fine gold, and mankind than the gold of Ophir. Therefore I will make the heavens tremble, and the earth will be shaken out of its place, at the wrath of the Lord of hosts in the day of his fierce anger.
The day of the Lord was also given heads up in Joel 2.
Before them land quakes,
heaven trembles,
sun and moon become dark,
stars withdraw their brightness.[e]
11 Adonai utters His voice before His army.
For His camp is very vast—
for mighty is it that carries out His word.
For great is the day of Adonai—[f] very terrifying!
Who can endure it?
I will work miracles in the sky and on the earth:
blood, fire, and clouds of smoke.
31 The sun will become dark,
and the moon will become as red as blood
before the terrifying day of יהוה the LORD comes.”
32 Then whoever calls on the name of יהוה the LORD will be saved.
Those who escape will be on Mount Zion and in Jerusalem.
Among the survivors will be those whom יהוה the LORD calls,
as יהוה the LORD has promised.
Seasons Means Feast Days
When in doubt, do not trust the translators for everything. They were paid. Let us look into the first mention of the Hebrew word Moed. It means appointments. KJV renders it “seasons”. The chance is if you poll 100 people coming out of a given church on Sunday, not one can tell you what Genesis 1:14 is about.

In Shemot 34, Moshe was instructed to command the Bnei to observe the feasts of their Deliverer from now on as a sign of their covenant. 17 “Never make an idol.
“in the time” should have been translated properly to say in the feasts of the month Abib, where there are three feasts.
As an additional note, יהוה is saying it is incompatible to eat Unleavened Bread and keeping idols side by side. In the New Covenant, therefore, it is also forbidden for an secret idolater to be an admirer of Eashoa. That person will be cut off. The concept came as early as in the Torah.
In the next scroll, V’Yiqara, moedim were set out in a suit of seven for the Bnei to keep as a sign of His covenant with them.
From this study we come to wake up to the truth that the role of the signs given in the sun and the moon shall determine the Feasts of יהוה the Lord.
In fact, in order to determine the month of Abib, the sighting of the new moon is mandated to be given by two witnesses. Then from day 1, we count it to the evening of the 14th day to hold Passover. On this day, between the evenings, Eashoa was put to death and He became the Passover Lamb, the Lamb of God that John testified to before he was beheaded by Herod Antipas.
The second feast HaMatzah is the day following Pesach. The first day of the following week becomes the third feast, HaBikkurim. And from this feast being counted as day 1, we then count to the 50th day to arrive at the fourth feast, Shavuot in the summer.
I interpret Matthew 5:17 when Eashoa declares that He came to fulfill all of Torah, He must also fulfill Shavuot. The Ruwach Elohiym was poured out in Shavuot 30 A.D. to the House of Israel that came to Jerusalem to observe the moed of Shavuot and they were Spirit baptized on that day. So the Bridgegroom, the messianics’ Kinsman, our Lord will also come to put the other bookend to Shavuot. He will take His kedoshim to the Marriage. He shall scoop up the Bride and lead the family, the tribes of Israel that turn to Him as our Moshiach, to head to see His Father.
Therefore, we need to understand that “signs” have been declared by Father. The Blessed Hope, our Lord Eashoa, will be appearing in His glory on a feast day.
Postlog
The three Fall feasts, moedim, must also be counted as from the first day of the seventh month of Ethanim. Again the three fall feasts are appointed to be on the first, tenth and fifteenth days of the seventh month. The moon again is used to determine and set the first day when the sliver moon is sighted.
