If you are part of the kedoshim (set apart) of the House of Israel and the Assembly of the Bride of Christ, then this is the way that we all shall live, to Him. I think if one is desensitized by religion then the picture of the Lord bleeding on the cross could become a religious cartoon. And I also think that if your own daily devotion time, such as reading the Word, submitting to God in praise and worship unaided, uncanned, and spending time serving the King in prayer, is overpowered by your unfiltered intake and ingestion of media material or religious paraphrenalia, you could also be desensitized.
The devil is banking on many ways to numb anyone who threatens his demonic kingdom of powers, principalities and dominions by going to God in spirit and in truth. He entices a disbeliever in ways that are appealing to the disbeliever. Trust me the devil is not going to entice the tennis player with a new badminton racket. Neither will the devil wrap a bait for a 50 meter breast stroke athlete with synchronized swimming choreography moves. If you say you are a believer, there are plenty of ways from Mystery Babylon that may appear as the Turkish Delight that so entralls Edmund in Narnia Land.
A life lived in a static religious lifestyle that can wholly remove the influence of the Risen Lord is not the sort of life by quality that Eashoa promised to His disciples. As the Good Shepherd and the Gate in John 10, He promised that those who enter by Him will live life and live life to the full.
It is true that some in christendom are not missing out on the world. Although those that do this fall into many shades of grey. For some, they live no differently on the outside as anyone who is a disbeliever. For some, they will make sure their worldly pleasures are tucked away from the church people, it is like sneaking a pizza to your bedroom and eat it all my yourself. For some it is suitably juggling between the spiritual life and the worldly life in order to milk the best of both worlds and reap the benefits of two worlds while winning none. None of the above exhibits actually satisfy the demand from Father for coming to Him in spirit and in truth. Both conditions are missing.
21 Yeshua tells her, “Woman, believe Me, an hour is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. 22 You worship what you do not know; we worship what we know, for salvation is from the Jews. 23 But an hour is coming—it is here now—when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father is seeking such people as His worshipers. 24 God is Spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth.” – John 4, Eashoa at Jacob’s Well, convo with a Samaritan lady
Each day we are closer to the Appearing of the Bridegroom, the shutting of the Ark is nearing more. By typology of the Ark in the days of Noe, and the analogy of the shutting of the gate to the five virgins in the first parable in Matthew 25, it is becoming more apparent to us that wait for Him.
The five among those ten virgins ran out of oil before they went to slumber. After all ten woke up, five of them regretted that they had no oil for holding out all the way until the Bridegroom arrives at any time. Everyone who checks into the New Covenant faith is one day shorter to take action! But there is no time like today. This is the allegory of the uncertainty of the exact minute in which the Bridegroom arrives. After that, as the marriage proper is in progress, the gate is shut. One cannot be late for these things. The Best Man cannot be late to the wedding. The Bridegroom cares so he will never be late. How about for the guests? Many will be shut out likewise in this age for being unprepared, selectively unprepared, partially prepared and intelligently unprepared. It is an oxymoron for one who buys a lotto ticket and put it in the trash can.
There may be two positions at large for most of the christendom.
1. Living to honor the Lord, worthy to escape all these “things”;
2. Repent on top of just believing in His mere existence.
3. Agree wit the Spirit of Truth, that Y’shua is Lord, is God, is the son of God on top of having been informed of such in the Scripture.
34 “But watch out so your hearts are not weighed down by carousing, strong drink, and the worries of life. Do not let that day come upon you suddenly like a trap. 35 For it will come rushing upon all who live on the face of the whole earth. 36 But stay alert at all times, praying that you may have the strength to escape all these things about to happen, and to stand before the Son of Man.”
I will be there at the Wedding. See ya.
