The Two Witnesses, Early Sign From Torah

Intro

The “Two Witnesses” from Revelation draw references from two entirely “unexpected” characters from the Torah. One shall be a Jew and the other shall be a Gentile.
Elijah was voted most popular by the churches. But Elijah was a Tishbite and Enoch, the other popular choice, was a Gentile. So the churches choice came to naught.

In Zechariah 4 the prophecy given to ZkharYah illustrates one lampstand. In Revelation 11 a second lampstand gets into the picture in time for the final endgame face/off against the antichrist.

It was prophetic of the Completed Work in 30 A.D. of the Messiah that He fulfilled at Moriah AKA Calvary.

In the Torah and the Ketuvim, two entered the Promised Land from the generation that exited Egypt. (The rest were born on Sinai.) These two characters are the real types that explain the identity of the Two Witnesses in Revelation 11.

The two Witnesses are symbolical of the Two Olive Trees of f יהוה. The cultivated branch and the grafted in wild branch, both drawing from the stock of the Olive Tree that is Christ. It is clearly explained in Romiym 11 by Paul.

When all is said and done, no one may come to the Father except through Eashoa. His word shall stand and will never pass away. Today we have many Christians who do not know Christ. I am not kidding. I learned this week that someone who attended a congregation that I once attended, a baptist denomination, died in stage 4. He did not even talk about God. You all have met that person that you see faithfully attending church but apart from the building, you will not find him associating with his alleged faith.  It is his family who speaks “God” all the time but it is hard to find evidence that they really know Jesus. I hope in the suffering of his last hour, he got to meet the Savior before his last breath. Rest in peace.

Many come to realize a truth, that the Scriptural and anointed interpretation of the Two Witnesses that will manifest in Revelation 11 are no celebrities of resurrected dead Bible characters from the Old Testament. The majority of Christendom is not short of the usual fare of foolish speculation. I counsel them to seek the Ruwach for clarification. Nor will they repeat foolish theories out of unanointed men’s speculative attempts, which is folly to the disbelievers and stops short of satisfaction for those who want to know what God has to say about who the two witnesses shall be. Whoever does not listen to  יהוה is foolishness. Trust not in our own understanding. The “two witnesses” will neither be two individuals, but rather a multitude of people who are In Christ, coming from two olive trees and two lamp stands.

How shall one hear what Elohim  יהוה has to say who the two witnesses are? It is all in His Word, the Scripture.

The truth is, all throughout the Bible, Elohim  יהוה has been working on these Two Olive Trees to be His two witnesses in the end times, faithfully ordained and appointed, going up in armor as His representative that testify as witnesses. The testimony that we shall give is to the salvation of the Son that He sent to save mankind, Israel and Gentiles, all in one covenant, the New Covenant. This covenant is sealed in the blood of God. It shall be not be broken. O praise the Lord He lives forevermore.

Witnesses are called to the witness stand at a trial to testify to the truth.  We speak in solemnity that what we say is true and nothing but the truth. The scene in Revelation 11 is the trial of the antichrist in Jerusalem. God יהוה will call upon His two witnesses to give testimony against the imposter.  We shall give the testimony.  11 They overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives even in the face of death (Revelation 12).

The final false christ is brought up by Eashoa as a warning in Matthew 24.

15 “So when you see ‘the abomination of desolation,’[b] which was spoken of through Daniel the prophet, standing in the Holy Place (let the reader understand)

Prophecies act as important warnings in Scripture. Many know from Zechariah that the true prefigure of the two witnesses come from a prophecy told by the Word of f יהוה to Zechariah. In chapter 4,

1 Then the angel who had been speaking with me returned and woke me—like a man who is wakened from his sleep.

He asked me, ‘What do you see?’

I replied, ‘Behold, I see a solid gold menorah with its bowl at the top of it, and its seven lamps on it with seven pipes for the lamps that are on the top of it. Also two olive trees are by it, one on the right side of the bowl and the other on the left side of it.’[a]

Then I responded by saying to the angel speaking with me, ‘What are these, my lord?’

The angel who spoke with me responded by asking me, ‘You do not know what these are?’

I replied, ‘No, my lord.’

Then he responded to me by saying, ‘This is the word of Adonai to Zerubbabel saying: “Not by might, nor by power, but by My Ruach!” says Adonai-Tzva’ot“What are you, great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain. He will bring out the capstone with shouts of “Grace, grace” to it.’”

The Grace of
יהוה

Grace is undeserving and unmerited favor. No one has done anything apart from Himself that is pleasing to יהוה.

Grace to the revived Israel and grace to the Church the Father will give to for coming into His kingdom.

Upon the restoration of the House of Israel, beginning with the tribes scattered aboard (the vine) and ending with the nation of Israel ( the fig tree), grace will see us through to receiving the Moshiach that was once rejected by most of Israel. To the House,

Zechariah 12 | 10
The Word of יהוה

10 “Then I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication, when they will look toward Me whom they pierced.[a] They will mourn for him as one mourns for an only son and grieve bitterly for him, as one grieves for a firstborn.

To the Gentile Bride, Romans 1:5

Through Him (Moshiach) we have received grace and the office of emissary, to bring about obedience of faith among all the nations on behalf of His name.

The Torah Illustrates Two Witnesses

However, in this article I will point out that the Torah preceded the Prophets chronologically, in giving a sign of the two witnesses. This happened even before the Bnei entered Canaan, the land promised to Avraham. Let us lift the veil of this truth with the help of Ruwach Elohim.

These two were individuals but by no means it is even suggesting that the final two witnesses are going to be two individuals. Each man here is a type. They were both commended by יהוה for their courage and obedience. They came in the two individuals known to many, both Israel and the Gentile Church. These two men are Yehosha and Kalev (Joshua and Caleb). Those who will be gathered to יהוה from among the House as well as from the nations (goyim, nations, Gentiles) are also expected to be the obedience sons of יהוה. Gone will be the lawless ones. “Depart from Me,” Eashoa will tell them.

Yehosha ben Noon represents the House. Kalev the Kenizzite represents the Gentiles. Both served as types in the New Covenant that will be entered to witness the Marriage of the Lamb after both have witnessed to the antichrist in the present of the world.

– Typology of the Gathering to Moshiach

Recall in B’Midvar 13 (Numbers), Moshe sent out 12 spies. But 10 of them worked up a blunder out of fear for the Nephilim hybrid that settled after the Deluge in a land flowing with milk and honey. So instead of fearing the Holy Name of Elohim יהוה their hearts bow in fear to the demonic entities. As a result of their blasphemy, they affected the whole generation and they were cut out by Elohim. None entered the Promised Land except for Yehosha and Kalev (Joshua and Caleb) from the generation of people who came out of Egypt. This situation is timeless. In the end times, many in covenant with יהוה will likewise nullify their part in the covenant. Likewise they will be eliminated from the kingdom out of fear.

But among the 12, there were two witnesses in Yehosha ben Noon (Joshua son of Nun) and Kalev the Kenizzite. These two were not eliminated in their races.

Kalev (Caleb) the spy is the son of Jephunneh. This is the early sign of the Two Witnesses, one Jew (Yehosha) and one Gentile (Kalev).

They shall enter the Promised Land!

– The New Covenant

Jephunneh is called a Kenizzite (Numbers 32:12, Joshua 14:6,14). The Kenizzites are listed (Genesis 15:19) as one of the nations who lived in the land of Canaan, at the time that God covenanted with Abram (Abraham) to give that land to his descendants forever (Genesis 17:8).

Yehosha and Kalev became the oldest among those who crossed the Jordan and these two men were the leaders of all those who went to settle in the Land. We shall not expect Yehosha and Kalev to come back to life in the end times to fulfill the two witnesses. Instead, it will be after these two types that the two olive trees who will enter paradeisos (paradise).

Joshua and Caleb were the only adult Israelites in that first generation who went “into the fullness” of God’s calling. They alone went into the land.  – Bob Hoekstra, Blue Letter Bible

Fear is worship. You fear who you worship. And fear can be a liar! If you fear the hybrid races, the Nephilim, more than you fear Elohim  יהוה , you will be cut out. Don’t do it. You will not inherit the Kingdom. This is another prefigure of the mark of the beast. For the mark of the beast is to be associated with the fallen angels.

The Revival In The Last Days

The generation of the fig tree in Matthew 24 refers to the world population that exists after 1948 upon the reunification of Israel.

From this generation, Deuteronomy 4 shall be fulfilled. Those from the House of Israel that are scattered abroad since 704 BC, that settled among the host nations and changed their names, will find Elohiym through the Messiah. Many Christians today bear the Avraham DNA and are in fact messianic believers who are biologically Israelites and spiritually Christians. This combo is the messianic type. The Word spoke to Zechariah about this time.

Zechariah 13

And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my name, and I will hear them: I will say, It is my people: and they shall say, The Lord is my God.

To messianics and Christians alike, we declare, the Lord is my God! That is fulfillment in the last days. Jesus is my God!

The Torah laid down the consistent theme and thanks be to Elohim  יהוה for teaching in the Shemot, that He granted for both the House (of Israel) and the Gentiles to enter the Promised Land.

In Revelation 11, the summon “Come up here!” is the call to the Promised Land.

12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up hither. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.

One witness shall be of the type of Yehosha (Joshua) and the second witness shall be of the type Kalev (Caleb). Both will be taken up to the Marriage to have the Bride and all the family and friends gathered together.

Both witnesses are redeemed by the blood of the Lamb. The House of Israel from Zechariah 9 shall be fulfilling the Joshua type. The Bride that is redeemed from the nations as Gentiles shall be fulfilling the Caleb type.
